It is reported that, in order to solve the environment issues caused by POPs, the Ministry of Environmental Protection has started the preparation work for "Twelve-Five Plan of Persistent Organic Pollutants Prevention".

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Information and Industry and Ministry of Agriculture are working together to establish the list of high toxic and forbidden pesticides. Participants said, related products are under investigation, and the product list will be announced recently.

Industry insiders said, throughout the history of the development of the pesticide at home and abroad, every pesticides ban is an opportunity for the pesticides industry to a new phrase. Therefore, to increase the high toxic pesticides’ ban strength, will help enterprise to develop low-toxic and effective pesticide.  Besides the list of high toxic and forbidden pesticides, revevant departments will publish the list of substitute and low-toxic products, guiding industrial upgrading.
